Tapir and Friends
A rather small selection compared to others, but some fair prices, a wonderful customer service, and the biggest plus of all : when you buy from them, you're also helping them preserve wildlife and tapirs. Which is always a big plus. I never had any trouble with them. Well worth a visit.
All Plush
Huge selection (including the evasive SOS collection from Leosco), quite competitive prices, and a wonderful customer service. Not only polite but professionnal. I know, I had a problem with an order once and they were just too eager to get things straight ASAP. Truly a great store. Don't mind their confused menu, it is not represantative of the professionnalism of this store.
They are linked through Amazon also. I find it easier to go through Amazon myself.
This Place is a Zoo
Again, wide selection of stuffed animals, some that you don't find anywhere else. All Plush and This Place is a Zoo are one of my official providers of SOS stuffed animals from Leosco. Once again I got a friendly and fast service from them and their prices are great. The only drawback I have found of this store is that they usually do not mention the brands in their catalog making it a bit harder to compare prices.
Kritters in the Mailbox
One of the funniest store I've fell upon. :) Many many different animal themed products. Most of their stuffed animals don't really fit with my likings but when some do, I know I can buy them with confidence. Plus it's the kind of store where it pays to visit often as their stock changes rather often. And they have such a wide variety of animals...
Stuffe and Nonsens
They have some of the greatest unique stuffed animals you have ever laid your eyes on. Sure the prices are usually on the higher side, but remember these stuffed animals are unique, made specially for you on special orders, by hand. So they're really worth it. Plus they "recently" started selling Hansas as well, and for a much better price than some other places I've seen too.
I also get a lot of stuffed animals either from second hand stores or from eBay. For both these sources it is important to look often so you start to know what you should expect to pay for a certain product. That way you know when you're getting a bargain and when you are being scamed. Also, the stock changes very very often and you never know when the perfect stuffed animal is going to pop or how long it will be before it pops again if you miss your opportunity.
I have a few favorite sellers from eBay too for when I'd prefer having a brand new toy instead of second hand :
Bratton Specialities is a great resource for Folkmanis puppets at a very low price. I got my Jackrabbit and Red Oriental Dragon from them and was extremely pleased.
Act II Is another wonderful resource for Folkmanis puppets. They usually have prices very close to Bratton Specialities', they have a stable 7.95$ shipping fee for anything under 4lbs (and puppets are usually under 4lbs), and they carry some retired models when they can.
The Boyds and the Bees is one of the most adorable Boyds Bears store I have ever laid eyes on. Plus the lady is super sweet.
Stuffed Animal Crackers carries a LOT of different animals, plus a lot of different brands that I like such as Douglas Cuddle Toys and Fiesta.
Plush Animal Planet is one of my newest discoveries. They carry SOS leosco stuffed animals as well as a lot of others favorites of mine for a very interesting price and the seller is very friendly. Did I mention how friendly Cindy is? They have an eBay store that sometimes carries their overstock, but eventually they'll have their own website. PlushAnimalPlanet.com
