Neeko is a beautiful and rare maned wolf plush. This is the only maned wolf plush I'm aware of. I don't think any other company ever made one... Neeko is gorgeous and I'm so thrilled to have him in my zoo. The first time I saw on like him on eBay, he was advertised as a hyena (probably because of the mane) but he still managed to get snatched under my nose for a terribly expensive price. The second time I saw one on eBay, he was correctly sold as a maned wolf, therefore the price quickly went through the roof and out of my reach. But the third time I saw one on eBay, it was Neeko, and he was advertised as a fox (eh, it IS the same markings...) and no one but me tried bidding on him, which means I snatched him at 0,99$!!! My heart was jumping with anticipation as he was making his way home through the mail, and now that he's home, he's one of my most precious animals.
3 times on eBay might not seem like a rare animal to you, but you have to understand this is over a 5 years period and I visit eBay and look about for stuffed animals with a wide variety of key words at least once a day, though often more than once. Neeko's tag reads "The Nature Company" but my researches have found little info about this so far, if not that it's from California.
