Any of you know of the cartoon Animal Crackers? This doll is Dodo, from Animal Crackers. But the older design, when his beak was not so huge. I don't know how old he is or where he comes from, my grandma gave him to me when I was a kid. It was form her collection. He was so loved that his neck broke. It is now very solidly patched by my mom. I didn't know about Animal Crackers when I was a child and so to me he was a seagull and I named him Quack. I used to say he could not fly, but he had an invisible bird friend that would carry him and so he used to pretend he could. |
