Technically, this is Hester the Hare, Lee Scoresby's Daemon from the Golden Compass. Even more technically, this is Hansa's Jack Rabbit, they only switched the eye color brown to blue to release it as a special FAO Schwarz exclusive Hester. Yet, to me, as soon as I saw it, it was Captain Holly, the old Owsla rabbit in Richard Adams' Watership Down. The ragged ears, the general grey color, the sraggly look... To me, this was is none other than Holly himself, after his traumatizing stay in Efrafa. |
