I didn't know the slightest thing about Foofur as a kid. I don't think I ever saw that show. But I do remember seeing the floppy blue dog plush in stores and having quite a discussion about how badly I wanted one with my dad with no success. Then I never heard about it again for over 15 years. It's only a few weeks ago I was looking for information about Pooch Patrol and fell upon a website about toys from the 80s in general. As I was browsing I found out about Foofur and finally remembered his name. The next day I went to the second hand shop with a friend looking for a blanket I could destroy to use the fabric for something else and as I entered the shop, there he was, staring at me with his googly eyes, a long blue Foofur is mint condition, for sale for 3,99$. What a coensidence! |
