What better material to use for a sheep toy than wool?
My mom is the master of knitting, and she made that adorable little sheep for me. His name is "Cute Cotton" in french, from a book I read when I was a child.
Cotton Mignon is so well made and so cute that a knitting store saw me walking with him in my arms and asked to have him for a few weeks on display. I missed him so during that time, and everytime my mom and I would walk pass that store, I'd ask when he was coming home.
