This is Erwin, he's Folkmanis' long retired wild boar. I LOVE boars, but I was having the hardest time finding one that would look decent. Then I found Folkmanis' but it had been retired since 2001 so there was very little hope of finding one. But I guess there is a God for plushie lovers because I got lucky and won this one on an auction on eBay for a very nice price indeed! It's suede-like details are slightly damaged, but he's in excellent condition considering he could very well be 10 years old or so. Erwin means "Boar Friend". |
