Bataki has got to be one of the best bird puppet I have ever laid my eyes and hands upon. First, it's fairly large. I must say for some unknown reason I was expecting a small 12" crow, not a huge 18" one. Being large means more room inside his head to manipulate him, so he's very easy to use. Second, they were careful about the details enough to add something hard in his beak that makes it clap when you close it. This is an awesome little detail. The wings also have small pockets where you can fit your hand to flap them about, but I'm yet to find an effective way to do so. Did I ever mentionned I love Folkmanis? Purchased on eBay.
