Once upon a time was a small chick who was never
happy of what he had and
what he was. So he asked Mother Nature
why he didn't have webbed feet like
the duck so he could swim,
and why he didn't have a waterproof coat like the otter so he wouldn't
get wet, and why he didn't have a flat and large tail like the
beaver, or a pouch to carry stuff, etc. Mother Nature got so sick
of his complains that she gave him all that he wanted at once,
and
when
he thought
he
was
now very ugly being such a strange animal, she said "That's what
you asked for, you who are never happy. Now be happy with that."
And hence was born the platypus.
("Jamais Content" is french for "Never Happy",
because I was told this story in french as a kid)
