The idea here is this : You dress in something non strechy and as thin as possible that can be destroyed, you cover yourself in duct tape, you stretch in all directions to stretch the tape until you can move more or less freely in it, you then cut the tape to form a pattern, you trace said pattern on fabric with seam allowance, and voilà, you have a tailored form fitting suit.
The experience was... "fun" to say the least. We laughed like nuts and the only 2 things that went wrong were that the painting overalls I had bought were so cheap they tore in many places so we had to tape over the holes which, yes, means I had tape glued directly on my skin in some places, including the crotch, and the second one being that I broke some tiny veins in my arms from squishing them while trying to strech the tape so now I look like Ben has beaten me because I'm covered in marks and bruises. :p
And now for pictures, of course, and humiliation galore.

Don't I look ferocious? These painter's overalls are pretty see through, that is the first thing I learned... They're also very very hot as they breath very little, even before the tape.

And now with tape! :)
I had a hard time getting up from the bed where Ben finished the job by taping between my legs. And then walking to the living room to stretch was quite the ordeal as well! At first I couldn't crouch at all, this is as far as I could go.

I'm getting there! I'm getting there! I can almost touch the ground! Hahaha! My friends were laughing their butts off at this point and my main worry was "Do not fall on your face or you'll be stuck in that position."

I stretched to the sides to. You can clearly see the tape pulling apart on my butt and on my elbow. I was starting to be able to move almost normally at this point, and already feeling much better. Look at Ben, giggling in the corner. He was actually standing there with the scissors, I think he was a little worried because he kept saying "Ok, we get you out now, right?"

When I finally managed to crouch more or less normally, I decided to try to kneel. Both my butt and left knee exploded at this point. It was hilarious. We quickly put another layer of tape on top to patch the holes. Once more directly on my skin.

Then we traced the lines where we'd cut with a marker. Ben was once more responsible of the touchy places. He didn't really wrote anything but when I saw the picture I couldn't help it. ;)
I now realise I forgot to try and sit down. But I'm pretty sure that if I was able to kneel, I will be able to sit as well. I also didn't tape the neck because when I was trying the moves with the painter's overalls only, whenever I'd bend down, the zipper would strangle me, so I had to open it a little. I didn't want to try that with the tape, so instead I'm going to look at a commercial pattern and improvise a neck from there by comparing what I have and what the pattern says. Same thing with the ankles and wrists, I'm just going to make them longer and trim them if I need it afterwards.
