ARN's Information Stand in Chapter's
For Harry Potter's Last Book Release
It was awesome of Chapter's to give us the spot we had. We were crammed in a corner, yes, but that particular corner had something very special : it was right between the two stairs! Meaning anyone coming up from the 1st floor would knock into us, and anyone wanting to reach the 3rd floor would have to pass us. We had the most visibility we could expect!
At first there were very little people. It still seemed like a lot to me, but I had plenty of room to wander about. Where are they all?
There they are!!! Waiting in the staircase! At first I enjoyed the space I had to wander about and make a scene. Then I realised people thought I was part of the staff and part of the animation paid by the store, they didn't associate me with the shelter cats right across the room. When I realised that, I stayed much closer to the ARN's stand. Anyway a few minutes later I just couldn't have moved from there if I had wanted to! The store was packed full of Harry Potter fans!
I got plenty of hugs and cuddles from all kind of people. One guy asked wether he knew me and then seemed all surprised/offended I had given him a hug even though I didn't know him. Hm... I thought that was what mascots were all about? But most people were begging for hugs and a guy who saw me resting and cooling off near the restrooms even said "Eh, thank you for the hug. That was a very nice one." and it made me feel all fuzzy.
I firmly beleive security gives the best hugs. Specially because they look so serious about their business but they still turn to butter when they see a giant kitty stretching out her arms to them. ;)
A smile like that will make me want to sweat and breath heavy in a giant kitty suit anyday! ...Not that I really badly need more help being convinced...
It's hard to tell because of the crowd preventing Ben from finding the right spot to take the best pictures, but I was riding a little girl's broom, trying to fly it. She was quite amused by my failed attempts to take off with her broom.
Please adopt me! I actually was asked numerous times whether I was for adoption too, and a few people didn't even bother to ask and claimed they were bringing me home right there. ;) One guy revised that thought after realising the size of the litterbox I'd need.
See that man in red in the back? I think he was waiting for someone, but he stayed there so long standing right there on his own watching me, at some point I couldn't help myself anymore and pounced on him for a cuddle. He was a good sport about it too, and I was sure to pounce/cuddle anyone who laughed from witnessing this. No one escapes the cuddle kitty! Muahahaha!
Me and the witch are buddies! She said so! Plus I want to eat her fish purse!

That
boy was cute as a bug! He was mesmerized by the giant kitty and I had a hard time getting him to actually react and interact. It was absolutely adorable! But I wanted badly to take a break yet I didn't know really how to make him let me go... Thankfully his Mom got the cue when I mimed I was hot and wanted to take a nap. ;) It's not on the tape but he gave me a big kiss on the cheek before he left.
